Appeasing Pheromones against Bovine Respiratory Complex and Modulation of Immune Transcript Expressions

چکیده
Bovine respiratory disease is still a major concern and has economic impact. Another consequence of infections the use antimicrobial molecules to control bacterial pathogens. This can participate in emergence shedding resistance that threaten animal as well human health. Appeasing pheromones with their capacity reduce stress thus ability preserve functions immune system have been proposed substances. In this study, we assessed effect appeasing pheromone administration on bovine health performance during fattening period. Zootechnical parameters whole blood transcript expressions were measured over four weeks bulls determine pheromone. We observed increased clinical signs Day 8 (D8) decreased D30 who received higher expression interleukin transcripts group than D8. Our results are overall line previous reports livestock species. Further studies needed shed more light decipher exact mechanisms action.

Trace Minerals on the Immune Response following Vaccination against Bovine Respiratory Disease
Bovine respiratory disease (BRD) has a major impact on the profitability of the cattle industries in North America, resulting in substantial economic losses. Effective transfer of maternal antibodies in conjunction with appropriate biosecurity measures and vaccination programs are essential to prevent and control BRD. Trace minerals (TM) are crucial for the development of an adequate immune res...
متن کاملModulation of Human Immune Responses by Bovine Interleukin-10
Cytokines can be functionally active across species barriers. Bovine IL-10 has an amino acid sequence identity with human IL-10 of 76.8%. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate whether bovine IL-10 has immunomodulatory activities on human monocytes and dendritic cells. Peripheral blood monocytes were isolated from healthy donors, and used directly or allowed to differentiate to dendri...
متن کاملMechanisms of Respiratory Syncytial Virus Modulation of Airway Immune Responses
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) most often causes severe respiratory disease in the very young and the elderly. Acute disease can also cause exacerbations of asthma in any age group. Recent findings provide insight into how the innate and adaptive immune systems respond to RSV infection and provide preliminary evidence that these effects vary significantly by RSV strain and host. Components o...
متن کاملImmune modulation in the treatment of respiratory infection
The limitations of currently available treatment for severe respiratory infection are demonstrated by the relatively fixed mortality associated with these infections despite advances in nutrition, vaccines, antibiotics, and critical care. This might be due in part to the changing spectrum of pathogens and development of drug resistance. Cytokines are potent molecules that function as growth fac...
متن کاملMaternal Antibody Improves Active Neonatal Vaccination against Respiratory Syncytial Virus through Immune Complex
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common infectious pathogen in infants. Vaccination is an important approach in the prevention of RSV infection in early age, but early vaccination is limited by low systemic and cellular immune responses. To overcome this difficulty, we in this study explored a novel vaccination strategy in a mouse model. Pregnant mother was vaccinated at day 14 of gestati...
